S.J. Magdalinos Plc was established by the late Spyros  J. Magdalinos in 1934 as a private proprietorship to exclusively trade coffee in the local market.

After the liberation of Ethiopia from the Italian occupation spyros Magdalinos started dispatching unprocessed/unclean coffee to Djibouti to established exporters. After the end of the 2^nd world war S.J.MAGDALINOS was the 1^st coffee trade to start processing, cleaning coffee in Ethiopian (Addis Ababa) for export to different countries (Egypt,Europe& USA).

He continued on a small scale export of coffee until the middle of the fifties when the he was joined by his nephews Nicolas G.Magdalinos & Efhtimios G.Magdalinos.

After the death of Spyros J.Magdalinos in 1967 the company was upgraded by to Private limited company.

Over the past years the company has been taken over by a big reputable local group, Hagbes Plc with a long history of its own. Heavy investments have been undertaken for the modernization of our plants.

Now S.J.Magdalinos Plc. is active in exporting high quality Coffee, Oilseeds, Cereals and Pulses at competitive prices.
